JUNE SPOTLIGHT
Rapid Fire Edition

Clarkson’s Farm (Prime Video — season 5)
A favorite of mine from the very beginning, ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ is equal parts hilarious and surprisingly heartfelt. A rare show that will have you laughing to tears one minute and genuinely invested in the realities of modern farming the next. This latest season carried a heavier emotional weight, particularly as Jeremy Clarkson faced some health struggles, adding a more vulnerable layer to the chaos. The good news: season six is officially in production, with a summer 2027 release on the horizon.

Voicemails for Isabelle (Netflix — original rom-com)
As if I wasn’t already in love with Nick Robinson—pair him with the endlessly charming Zoey Deutch, and this is an easy one to recommend. It may lean a bit predictable, but the premise feels fresh and layered enough to keep you invested.

The Other Bennet Sister (BritBox — season 1)
For the period-piece crowd: this one follows Mary Bennet—the overlooked, less glamorous sister of the five, as she steps firmly into her main-character era. Charming, funny, and deeply heartfelt, it’s a fresh and satisfying reimagining that makes Mary impossible not to root for. After a record-breaking debut on both BBC and BritBox, the series will return later this year for a three-part Christmas special, filming this summer.

The Bear (Hulu — season 5)
With 20+ Emmys under its belt, The Bear hardly needs my endorsement—but here we are. In its fifth and final season, the show trades its usual forward momentum for a real-time, single-day pressure cooker—and while that choice can feel frustratingly claustrophobic, it’s still undeniably gripping. The performances remain stellar, the writing razor-sharp, and the anxiety? Practically its own cast member. Even when it’s spinning its wheels, The Bear still knows how to serve.
