AUGUST REVIEWS
To Binge or Not to Binge

Carrie Coon and Morgan Spector in The Gilded Age S3
AUGUST TOP PICK: THE GILDED AGE
The third installment of this beloved period piece drama has been dubbed by Variety as the best season yet, and viewers are in agreement. Compelling character arcs, emotional depth, and shocking twists took the series to a whole new level this time around. The show digs into class divides, women’s rights, and racial inequality, in a beautifully contextual way that never seems to feel heavy. Full of period splendor and witty one-liners, the added suspense and emotional punch make it irresistible.
If you’ve been waiting to catch up, now’s the time. Seasons 1-3 are available to stream on HBO Max—binge-watching encouraged.
