The Five-Star Weekend

If your ideal summer binge involves gorgeous coastal scenery, complicated friendships, and America’s sweetheart leading the cast, The Five-Star Weekend is an easy recommendation. While the series occasionally tries to juggle more storylines than it can comfortably handle, the emotional core and the chemistry between its cast keeps you invested from start to finish. The series never feels overly heavy, balancing its emotional moments with enough warmth, humor, and escapism to make it an ideal summer watch.

As someone who absolutely loved Jennifer Garner and Timothy Olyphant together in Catch and Release, seeing them reunite here is reason enough to press play. Their effortless chemistry is every bit as charming nearly two decades later. Better yet, creator Bekah Brunstetter and Garner have already hinted they'd love to continue these characters' stories beyond this season, so here's hoping this isn't our last trip to Nantucket.
