2026 Emmy Nominations

Emmy nominations were announced Wednesday, July 8, and the Television Academy once again reminded us that predicting the nominees and agreeing with them can be two different things. The list below is simply a roundup of this year's biggest nominations, not necessarily the ballot I'd cast myself. Some of these shows are among my favorites of the year, while others left me wondering if we all watched the same series. Such is Emmy season. I've marked my personal favorites (not my predictions) with a ★ to help you prioritize what to catch up on before the Emmys air Monday, September 14, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
